The Westbourne Welcomes visitors to the 2007 Maritime Festival - The Westbourne is ideally situated for this exciting event being just a short walk from the sea front and with plenty of private car parking.
Why are hen or stag events not allowed at the Westbourne Hotel?
These events need to be enjoyed and often get very lively and end very late at night and to ensure the comfort of our Guests isn’t affected, we don’t allow either Hen or Stag groups.
Will we have our own Hotel key?
Of course, we totally respect your need to come and go into the hotel and your room at any time during your stay.
Can we accommodate Jet Skiers?
Yes, we can within our car park although this might prove difficult at peak times. We do feel that jet skiing is an exciting activity. We will do all we can to accommodate your needs.
Can the Westbourne accommodate Cyclists?
Yes, most certainly – bikes can be chained up at the back of the hotel – totally out of sight and secure. We are keen to encourage cyclists and can provide packed lunches if required, as well as local cycle route guides. Arrive any time of the day and if you are too early to book into your room, we can still store your cycle panniers if required.
Can the Westbourne accommodate Walkers?
Yes! We can also provide packed lunches and drink bottle refills and local walkers’ guide books. If you come on foot, you can arrive any time of the day, check in and we can safely store your ruck sacks if required until your room becomes available.
Can the Westbourne accommodate Surfers?
Yes! We have a secure and safe car park in our grounds and surfers are welcome. We also have the facility for safe storage of surf boards and wet suits if required.
The Westbourne Hotel Welcomes Players in the Torbay Tennis Open.
This annual competition is a major event on the national tennis calendar, we are only two minutes drive from the competition courts. We can provide power meals, including for example packed lunches and drinks, egg pasta and Lucozade Sports, etc. What could be better after a hard day’s tennis than a muscle relaxing dip in our heated pool. We also provide a safe and secure racket storage area.
Does the Westbourne cater for Concert & Theatre Breaks?
Yes. The Westbourne is ideally situated being only a short stroll away from the Princess Theatre in Torquay which boasts star-studded all year round entertainment and is just 10 minutes drive from the popular Babbacombe Theatre. Yes – and if you arrive by train or coach, the Westbourne is only a short walk away from both. Indeed, as long as you tell us in advance when you should be arriving, we can offer a complimentary collection service.

A short flight, for example just 45 min from Manchester and Exeter Airport is just 25 minutes away from the Westbourne Hotel - so for the people of the northwest of England paradise is now just over an hour away.
